Evoking an alternative sound, Darksoft creates a nostalgia for 2000s sadcore. Using an Elliot Smith and Bright Eyes vocal style, crunch guitar like Staryflyer 59 or Superheaven, and an overall garagey sound reminiscent of 90s shoegaze.
